Hola,
Sorry for the delay on updating my blog. Thank you for being patient.

We are in the swing of things and classes are going great!
6-G Learned the Pledge in Spanish and  some students have made a morning announcement! I received a lot of compliments on how fantastic they sounded! They worked very hard on this and I could not be prouder of them!  we are starting the alphabet and the vowels. We have worked on, the date, recording the Pledge, How old they are and how to ask "How old are you?" great job. Then these next two days they will learn about the Day of the Dead and do a craft activity.

I have not met cycle 2,3, & 4 classes which are 6-D, 5-D & 5-H.

Grade 4- we are working on the reciting the formal way of saying the date, we will be starting the numbers soon 1-100.

Grade 3- we are working on the asking "what is your name?", and answering "my name is ....", and asking "How are you?" and answering that with 3 different answers... we are reviewing colors and animals and fruit in between too.

Grade 2- Reviewing colors and family and beginning some fruits and what fruit they like and do not like.

Grade 1- We are reviewing the colors and the number,. and working on continuing to learn numbers up to 20.

Grade K- we are beginning our class with a tu ti ta song which they sing in Spanish  and learning to say "My name is ....." in Spanish. They are learning to count and learning the colors also.

Pre-K- we sing and dance and read stories and learning the colors. Students learn to say "my name is ...."

All classes except cycle 2,3 & 4 will learn about the Day of the Dead Celebration and Traditions in  Mexico.
